Ard-na-Coille featured in the popular Monarch of the Glen BBC TV programme as Glenbogle Golf Club. Many cast members stayed in the guest house during filming.

Local outdoor pursuits include: golf, fishing, pony trekking, deer stalking, skiing, water sports, Highland games, bird watching, mountain biking and walking. You can also visit distilleries, castles and the steam railway. |

- Take the M80 to Stirling then the A9 to Perth.
From Edinburgh:
- Take M90 to Perth.
From Perth:
- Take the A9 north for Inverness, then the slip road to Newtonmore (A86).
- We are opposite the Highland Folk Museum, with electric entry gates. |
