The Auld Alliance is situated in Kingussie village which is the principal town in the Strathspey valley. It is an area of outstanding beauty, dominated by the Cairngorm range, a Mecca for mountaineers & hill walkers year round.

Kingussie is conveniently located on the main London / Inverness rail line and off the A9.The Auld Alliance is 5 minute walk from the station but pick ups are offered to residing guests. It is approximately 1 hour from Inverness airport to the North & 2 and a half hours from both Glasgow and Edinburgh to the South. Car hire can also be arranged.
